Panel upgrades

An old fuse box or an undersized panel is usually the root cause behind flickering lights, breakers that trip for no clear reason, and homes that cannot run modern appliances without something shutting off. I replace fuse boxes and outdated panels with a properly sized breaker panel, correct the grounding, and label every circuit so you actually know what controls what.

When you need it: Breakers trip repeatedly, your panel still uses fuses, you are adding a large appliance or an addition, or an inspector flagged the panel during a home sale.

Circuits & wiring

Kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and workshops all pull more power than older wiring was ever built for. I run dedicated circuits for major appliances, add capacity where a room needs it, and track down and fix wiring that has gone bad, whether that is a dead outlet or a run that was never done right in the first place.

When you need it: You are remodeling a kitchen or bath, adding a garage or shop, or dealing with a circuit that keeps failing and nobody can explain why.

Lighting

Recessed cans, fixture swaps, switches, dimmers, and outdoor lighting that has to survive Ohio and Pennsylvania weather. I handle the wiring and the fixture together, so a lighting upgrade does not turn into a second project when something behind the wall does not match up.

Kitchens, bathrooms, garages, and anywhere near water need GFCI protection, and a lot of older homes are missing it entirely. I add and replace indoor and outdoor receptacles, install weatherproof covers, and bring outlets up to code where they are currently a hazard, not a convenience.

EV charger prep

A Level 2 charger needs its own dedicated, properly sized circuit, not a shared line that trips or overheats. I run the circuit and install the outlet or hardwired connection so your charger runs at full speed safely, sized correctly for your panel's actual capacity.
